Rebound Solutions was born from lived experience—decades spent walking alongside people through complexity, crisis, and quiet transformation.

Rebound brings together clinical insight, ethical clarity, and a deep respect for every participant’s journey.

We’ve seen the system from the inside. We’ve held space in moments of uncertainty. And we’ve learned that real support begins with listening.

Laurie brings over 30 years of experience across psychology, rehabilitation, guardianship, and a wide variety of leadership roles in both the public and not for profit sectors. A former Registered Psychologist and Senior Guardian, Laurie is deeply committed to building inclusive, person-centered systems that empower individuals and communities. 

Laurie’s career began in remote Northern Ontario, Canada, delivering front line social services. Since relocating to Australia in 1996, she has worked across remote Queensland and Western Australia—including Mornington Island, Mt Isa, Julia Creek, Kalgoorlie, Pilbara, and the Kimberley—in roles spanning child protection, mental health, rehabilitation, government leadership, and native title negotiation and mediation in the mining and land administration sectors.

Laurie is also a former nationally accredited mediator, with a special interest in supporting families in conflict, particularly around guardianship matters and the prevention of elder abuse and abuse of people with disabilities. Her mediation work reflects a principled, compassionate approach to advocacy and resolution.

• NDIS Auditor, Assessing quality and compliance
• Team Lead, Psycho-social recovery and rehabilitation services
